Serious question - what qualifies as “antique”? I know with cars it’s 20 years. Is there a qualification, or is that left up to interpretation?

Federally it's 1898. I'm not sure if dc defines it differently.

Even with cars it depends on the state's definition - AFAIK there is no federal definition. Its 25 years in my state.
