To gain more Twitter impressions with tick tock bullshit and keep his name in the news. The based data analysts that testified at the same hearing and did AMA's here already said this guy bullshitted us about hacking machines, kinda lost credibility tbh.
We had a call with him a month ago and he was bullshitting us. He didn’t even have the machine learning algorithm developed and was presenting it like it was a done deal. Look, I build software for a living and even build a couple machine learning pieces that analyze contract terms from large contract documents, as well as lead analysis for phone call leads — I know bullshit vapor ware when I see it.
They didn't say hacking the machine was bullshit, just that hacking the poll pad wasn't as big as a smoking gun as perceived, still all their other data has not been refuted
Keep in mind we actually have no idea if he really did hack any poll pad at all. He never showed any receipts on that one either. He just got up there and announced like he's in a bad 90's hacker movie: "WE'RE IN!!!".
The guys gave him some benefit of the doubt, trying to avoid friendly fire. But now many days later with not a single receipt, I think we're past the point of giving him the benefit of the doubt.
One of the data guys replied to me on the comment above with some additional info BTW
So why don't they publish the evidence and show it to everyone?
Because it doesn't matter.
Because they're addicted to the rush of control that comes from being the gatekeepers.
Not realizing they've just double-clown-worlded themselves into a weird makeshift digital authoritarian.
Well that got deep quickly
Gross, leave Stacey Abrahm's fat rolls out of this!

Thanks for the additional context, that's really disappointing.
