I think mitch certainly slipped in a few but in general the courts are now ruling much more along constitutional lines than activist. The media even the good media mostly focuses on the bad and isn't reporting on all the good and it kind of waters down Trumps accomplishments even for those that follow him.
Mostly very well. Trump used mitch to get the things done he needed done just like Trump has used so many others to do the same even though he knows they ultimately would turn on him. This is daily business ethics in the real estate circles Trump runs in. Politicians have no chance.

Specifically in this instance he used party mechanisms(likely refusing committee positions) to try to get people to back down on doing the duty to object to fraudulent electors, because he didn't like the optics of it, and likely had a made a backroom deal.
