Minor history lesson- in previous civil unrest in various nations, the people did not bother to construct gallows. They would use lamp posts, trees, anything which could support the weight of a body. They would tie nooses, loop the nooses around the necks of those they wanted to kill, then heft them by the ropes, then tie off the ropes to another tree/ lamp post/ etc.

I always kinda just figured they would be hung from the power line poles.
