I know its cool to bag on cops right now, due to optics and the cowardice of many, and yes it is warranted in many cases. Sad sad state of affairs. But you must remember that many of our local cops are also veterans who will die for this country. Many many have left the job over this nonsense as well. The recruiting and retention crisis is widespread, not only in big cities. BLM and a shady government is at the root of it. Police leaders are no more than politicians with badges. As leadership goes, so go the orders that officers receive.

The overwhelming majority of regular officers are personally in support of this patriot movement. There os little to no support for blm or antifa or pedo joe. I am angered that more are not leaving their departments in protest of this lefty nonsense trickling down from above their heads.

Many are caught between a rock and a hard place. There is no right answer for them. They have a duty to their community and take it seriously. Not all things cops do are commie related. Remember that. They are willing to die, and many do, in defense of innocents. Then comes protest duty. If you dont think the majority of cops were EXCITED about the prospect of physically confronting the BLM and antifa rioters, youre very misinformed. Guys looked FORWARD to it. But what about orders to be passive? Orders to not arrest? Go against those orders and THE COPS get fired and/or get ARRESTED for assault, unlawful arrest, insubordinance, derilection of duty, etc. all while the actual bad guys are released and free to sue the pants off the city and department.

Now they want cops to officiate patriot rallies. Of course the orders are different and heavier handed bc, remember, leadership is corrupted. Same rules apply that if they disobey, fired and/or arrested. THIS is where the problem lies. There needs to be solidarity in revolt by the officers assigned. Cant fire them all. But is anyone actually trying to organize this? Idk the answer.

Alienating the police in totality is a bad move. Many would be an asset to any positive action against this cesspool of corruption and fraud. Im certain some would stay on the wrong team to keep their pension and paycheck, but not all. That part is already happening with guys leaving in droves. But treating all cops as BLM/Antifa is not only incorrect, it is not helpful to the cause.

I expect to be flamed, as this place has become much less of a place for competing ideas. However, cops are the enemy of BLM/Antifa. Would you rather unintentionally help THEM by joining them in their hatred of cops, or do your best to make the cops align with YOU and show them the way? Enemy of my enemy...

I work with LE on the local and federal level. Most local cops that are veterans are not combat veterans or never even fired their gun on deployment. Most vet cops are just a door kicker LARP with better ROE than when they were occupying a country.

Are you seriously suggesting that being a veteran only matters if you have seen combat? Plenty of “gangstas” have been in quite literal war zones and have engaged in comat their entire lives...you would rather have that experience back you up than a trained vet who never went to war? When we went to Afghanistan, some of those terrorist fuckers had been fighting for a generation. Would you say they had the upper hand (supporting heavy units aside) on trained but inexperienced soldiers?
