A little speculation on my part but I've heard this scenario before in Guatamala, where an American couple adopts a kid from a questionable source, have the baby for 6 months and are in love with the child, reputable source has some bad news and will need to return the child to her mother. They were asked if there was anything they can do and they were given some options. There option was money but with someone like Roberts they wanted something different like leverage. The leverage was in the form of recorded conversations about something vague like "do what it takes" and then the informant does just that and Roberts is shocked at the outcome (death) and now they have the leverage for a lifetime. Just a thought and no sources.

Honestly all these attacks on Roberts look like an attempt to remove a justice so the Democrats can appoint a more liberal one. I agree Roberts sucks, but Biden can do a lot worse.
Wood’s efforts in this regard are sort of in line with his efforts to undermine the GOP in the GA elections.
Wood has no credibility and every time he tweets it hurts Trump.
Wood is just grooming you guys to buy his books.
