Angels have a history of blowing up little kids with bombs in Canada. Not sure if they are any better in the USA, but they're still the same club aren't they?
I learned not too long ago that our friends were actually part of a group considered not just an MC (motorcycle club), but an outlaw biker gang. Always been great and we’re not going to shun them cause of it, but family in law enforcement said probably best to keep it casual.
Yeah, the Hell’s Angels and the Mongols and any number of clubs are in fact criminal enterprises. Around here they were (are?) the main dealers of meth.
In Anaheim CA where one of thier HQs is at near the I5 intersection (I know that area well enough), they were known to beat the living fuck out of dealers who tried getting kids hooked on shit. The HA group policed the streets along with old school groups like the old Baker Street Boys back in the day, and were actually anti-drug. They mostly did gun running.
They were rough on the edges but actually good for the neighborhoods as a whole. So it just depends on where you're at. Up north in the rural areas, meth heads galore, else where they patrolled the streets fucking up gang bangers to keep kids safe. It just depends.
Seems like there hasn't been news of them doing anything way out of line for a while now. It's impossible to say whether they are doing less criminal stuff or just not getting caught and/or shifting the dirty work to other orgs. in my opinion.
Even despite their history here I still have an acquaintance with a "Support HAMC" shirt so it's not like you can feel safe openly and publicly discuss this stuff for fear of people who might be connected hearing you are "badmouthing" the club.

I’m not familiar with that story and certainly no history of that shit with angels in America.

They also assassinated two random prison guards. Not because the people did anything wrong, just to target prison guards for intimidation.

It depends on the chapter.
