My job told me that I needed a covid test to come back to work. I told them that I wouldn’t be coming back. They changed their mind immediately.

It isn’t worth the trouble for employers to fire and then have to rehire and retrain new employees over this. Everyone knows it’s bullshit. Now, other people at my work are also not taking tests/refusing.

Probably some bullshit suggested by HR. They tend to be that way and generally out of touch with actual needs of the business.
