Not my family, but I’ve lost my only two real friends on this entire planet. I’m autistic and agoraphobic, so making new friends is nearly impossible. The only reason I had them was because of high school. I love them so much and miss them dearly. I have spent many nights sobbing over the loss. I thought I meant more to them than politics. They always knew I was more conservative. They accepted that just as I accepted their own political leanings. I guess this rigged election means more than I.

I feel for you. It’s a terrible feeling to lose those closest to you. I am so thankful to have had my family on my side. I pray for your emotional strength and determination. Hopefully after all this is documented in the history books, those friends and family we’ve all lost will realize that they were only caught up in the heat of the moment and will come back to us.
