I really wish people would quit saying this. A "digital civil war" is not actually a war. A real war is when you kill people and break stuff as a means of imposing your will upon others by force. It's not memes and online bickering.
It sounds pathetic to draw parallels between trolling and actual armed conflict, and frankly, a "digital war" simply isn't going to cut it. This is going to require each of us to put our lives and fortunes on the line
