But Nazi Germany didn't get rid of their Police force, they had the Orpo which co-existed with the Gestapo. They didn't exactly ban churches, it's rather a misleading statement although they did remove synagogues. But Nazi Germany didn't get rid of their Police force, they had the Orpo which co-existed with the Gestapo.
