Andrew Breitbart came from the same time and place and he "got it" more than almost anyone. It's a strategic advantage to have people who know "the enemy" and how they think. Very few on the left understand our side at all, it's their weakness. I'm no Shapiro fan so I'm with you there, but being from urban CA isn't what's wrong with him.
