What you seem to be missing here, is that if we want Trump to succeed he needs a position of strength not of weakness. Fucking giving the Democrats amnesty and more voters, a packed supreme court, more senators, those are all things that would weaken Trump and even a Trump party significantly.

If Trump stays, and both GA senators lose, there is still 50-50 with Pence as the tie breaker. You need Trump in there to call them out and keep them in line... even with him in there you still had McCain block the repeal of Obamacare. The GOP loves to just do enough to screw over the sheep and act like they care. They must pull straws to see who has to take the hit just to block certain votes, etc.
If you don't have Trump you can have 60 repub senators and there will be over 10 that will sell their votes.. remember TARP? Do you go that far back? I watched that vote live and saw the first vote fail and said, wow, the country still exists.. then they just regrouped... put in another $130 billion or so bribes on top of the $700 billions bank bailout and voted again and got those 13 or so repubs to switch their votes. That was in the House.. the Senate usually only needs a few hands greased.
13!!! If there is no watchdog president, you only end up paying MORE taxes for the bribes.
There's still Romney who will vote against Trump on matters of importance.

The plans for a Democrat controlled senate, which is unfortunately very possible is the stuff of nightmares though. I'm not a Republican. I just know who the biggest threat is and it's the Democrats. At least the GOP has some good people on their side, the Democrats are up and down the line CCP allies.
You can't fight on all fronts at the same time. You take out the Democrats, then you worry about the Republicans. It's not a victory to give greater power of the senate to the Democrats. There is no scenario in which that helps.
