It sounds like the media started running with “PENCE WONT SHOW UP WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR TRUMP” and Grassley just said “then I’ll do it,” to which the media went “GRASSLEY CONFIRMS PENCE WILL NOT SHOW UP” to which Grassley responded saying “no, if for any reason he can’t be there I’ll take his place but he’s planning to be there.”
