That's right, ambulances in Los Angeles are being told 1. to ration oxygen which causes further deterioration in covid patients and 2. not to transport patients who they believe are not likely to survive. This includes non Covid patients too. We have EMTs, not doctors, making quick on the scene decisions about which heart attack, car accident victims to bring to hospitals, who to transport and offer levels care not available with regular BLS or ALS.
And all this is because the hospitals are full with Covid positive Illegal immigrants. So not only are you paying for the healthcare of illegals, your chances of dying due to lack of available health resources, increase too.
Put em all on ventilators and itll clear out real quick. They only do that for healthy caucasians though
Plenty of people have an O2 concentrator right in their homes.
Recall Gavin Nuisance and #DrainTheSwamp or lose your state, California.
We only have limited resources. The Dems prefer those limited resources go to illegals.
Hospitals are not filled....
LA hospitals are filled nearly all the time, as the OP says due to illegals using the emergency room as free health care.
Not even illegals. Bottom feeders on welfare will go to the ER vs a clinic and drain time and resources from the ER. I think people forget what the E stands for.
Lived in LA 16 years. Can attest this is true. Four to six hours wait, always.
Sorry I meant to say Hospitals are not filled because of covid.
LA street Paramedic here. OP is 100% correct on everything. End of times stuff here.
Did you read the actual article? It's not as dire as OP describes (Who may not be a provider and therefore misunderstands)
To make these decisions under the guise of COVID is stupid, but one of the main points being made is that there shouldn't be transport for arrest without ROSC. Outside of special circumstances this should be the absolute norm anyways and it's a testament to how fucked EMS and hospital relationships are that this isn't the case across the nation already.
Another point is no supplemental oxygen for patients above 90% O2 sats. Again, generally this is reasonable. Individual providers should be able to make a reasonable determination within that framework and if you're afraid to stand up for yourself on why you have someone satting 90% on O2 then you have no business being a primary patient advocate. I've had much bigger fights over much smaller issues and I've never once been afraid to take a stand. Nor have I ever been punished because I was always using proper patient advocacy based decisions.
Let em get this straight....
They are running out of oxygen?????
Like what we breathe in the atmosphere
Like they can't manage to get more as demand rises?
That is mismanagement, not a health crisis
They don't seem to have a problem filling tanks anywhere else in the country now do they?
I'm well aware of medical and aviation oxygen and what regulates it.
This is all on LA county mismanagement. Like commie standard, they wrap up they incompetence in hysteria of "shortage" due to "X"
Go back and look at how the FSU operated. You'll find your answers there.
This is a very easily solved problem. You don't have to go full retard and deny care from those still living. As my brother the doc says, you're not dead until you are dead....and then sometimes you aren't.
WTF are you talking about?
Can you read?
PLease tell me you are NOT a real doctor.
You're a good commie
You'll go far as a useful idiot.
You'll be the first one they put in the ditch.
The recruit them in. What do you expect. CA is gone along with most of it's taxpaying Citizens.
such a crock of shit. They are filled with people unreasonably scared about COVID, which is little more than a cold. Get them some cold-eze and call it a day.
That's because they come here illegally, they gave no value to american culture or cleanliness. So you end up with this.
[X] DOUBT
Is this before or after the nurses make the dancing videos.
Sounds like BS to me.
