i've said before that VP does not have the legal authority to reject any votes. Its unprecedent.

However I am entirely on board with MAKING a precedent that establishes that authority.

I just hope Trump understands - a precedent with such ramification as this, gets set in blood, not on Twitter.

He better have more people with guns behind him, ready to back up HIS interpretation of constitution than the Democrats do.

So far when it came to people ready and willing to use force, Democrats consistently had better backing.

Trump had none.

Thomas Jefferson did it -- that's how he became POTUS.

Nixon did it when he was Ike's VP re: his election against JFK (although unlike with Jefferson, it didn't make a difference for the JFK win as it was just Hawaii).

"Unprecedented" doesn't mean what you think it means.

what thomas jefferson did was nothing like this. Their paperwork was fucky, but there was zero dispute over who Georgia's votes were inteded to be counted for.
