Be damn sure you do not leave the polling location until you are sure your vote was counted. If the machines are down, stand there and wait. Do not leave.

Don't you get a paper print out before it's scanned? You can take a picture of it, and then sue the state to show you the digital copy that was tallied.
You do, but they can't correlate your scanned copy to a specific digital copy. In theory, this is so you can't show Sherriff Bubs that you voted for him in return for a bribe, but we all know how well that worked.
