They know you are there. They know you support Trump. There are certainly going to be hotel workers who are anti-Trump. They will take your stuff, damage it, or fuck with your shit in a way you won't know immediately, then they can deny anything (plausible deniability).

Just be extra cautious.

And, while you're at it... Make sure you are courteous to people. You are representing all of us, those who can make it and those who can't. We are a smart group of people, civilized, well-mannered, and have good principles. Let's be sure we save our tension for when it's needed.

Love you all for going out there... be safe.

Edit: It sounds like room safes are not very safe. You know what though, the room safe is still better than no safe. It may not be 'much' better, but it is still better than nothing.

All hotel safes have an override code held by the ownership. If you can’t afford to lose it, don’t bring it.

Not to mention you can Google the default override code for most of them since most hotels don’t bother changing it

But wouldn't that let you change it?

I remember seeing some viral video, the code was something like "0000" IIRC.

That's the same combination an idiot would put on his luggage!

That reminds me of how all key accessed elevators in the US use the same keys. There's like 3 or 4 different ones and that's it.

Just because it isn't expensive doesn't mean it isn't valuable. Sure, you can afford a new toothbrush but do you really want to risk some hotel staffer putting up their ass and then putting it back? It's still a good idea to be cautious and hide your stuff.

Tip: Hide it under the bed. They obviously never look under there-have you see some of the disgusting filth under a hotel bed?
