They know you are there. They know you support Trump. There are certainly going to be hotel workers who are anti-Trump. They will take your stuff, damage it, or fuck with your shit in a way you won't know immediately, then they can deny anything (plausible deniability).
Just be extra cautious.
And, while you're at it... Make sure you are courteous to people. You are representing all of us, those who can make it and those who can't. We are a smart group of people, civilized, well-mannered, and have good principles. Let's be sure we save our tension for when it's needed.

Edit: It sounds like room safes are not very safe. You know what though, the room safe is still better than no safe. It may not be 'much' better, but it is still better than nothing.
My hotel said that if you're staying fewer than 7 days, you won't get housekeeping. Because COVID.

That seems pretty standard right now. All the hotels in Vegas aren't doing housekeeping and pretending their employees are cleaning each room more.
And just like that, housekeeping turnover went from "Yes" to zero.
