They know you are there. They know you support Trump. There are certainly going to be hotel workers who are anti-Trump. They will take your stuff, damage it, or fuck with your shit in a way you won't know immediately, then they can deny anything (plausible deniability).
Just be extra cautious.
And, while you're at it... Make sure you are courteous to people. You are representing all of us, those who can make it and those who can't. We are a smart group of people, civilized, well-mannered, and have good principles. Let's be sure we save our tension for when it's needed.

Edit: It sounds like room safes are not very safe. You know what though, the room safe is still better than no safe. It may not be 'much' better, but it is still better than nothing.
While most service people are honest people, we have to acknowledge that Trump has an effect on people. Some people can't function when they hear his name or see a Trump flag. They go crazy. What little morals they have are completely out the window if they see a Trump supporter.

Right. Trump Derangement Syndrome isn't some joke we made up to get a few laughs. It's real. Trump makes Democrats hate what they loved and love what they hated. All they need to hear to forget an oath, lose their morals, or switch opinions is that DJT supports it.
