I work at one of the largest banks in the world. Here is what the email said:

Including my pronouns in my signature line is an important part of being an ally to the trans and non-binary community. It is a way to help normalize the practice, and hopefully make it a little easier for anyone who is using different pronouns than they have the past, or is using gender neutral pronouns (such as they/them/theirs).
Inviting everyone to update their signatures and participate.

Just don't comply.
It's that easy.
Except it's a massive problem. Simply not complying isn't enough to reverse the damage that is being wrought on our society. We must strike back and end this degradation.

But you have an easy out that you can do in a calm manner. Simply respond to the email
"Thank you but I respectfully decline your invitation to participate"
and CC everyone in the company
