I work at one of the largest banks in the world. Here is what the email said:

Including my pronouns in my signature line is an important part of being an ally to the trans and non-binary community. It is a way to help normalize the practice, and hopefully make it a little easier for anyone who is using different pronouns than they have the past, or is using gender neutral pronouns (such as they/them/theirs).

Banking is pretty much dead if you aren't woke. Last time I looked for a new banking job, some banks wanted me to do a write up on what diversity and inclusion means to me as part of my application.
Everytime I interview, it's all anyone cares about. Competence is not important but bending the knee to this insanity is.
