The easiest way forward is to occupy and control the structure that currently exists because you Already have the power. There is some house cleaning left to do for sure. But the quickest and easiest path forward is taking over the republican party not starting our own party that wanders in the wilderness for 10 years
The establishment will never allow a takeover. They will never allow anyone honest get to the heights of power within the Republican Party. They'll use the very same methods that they're using now to steal the election from Trump to keep any challengers out.
Indeed, they've probably been doing this for years. Trump winning in the first place was a mistake; a grave miscalculation on their part. You can bet it will never happen again if they can help it. The handful of honest people who work their way up through the ranks of the Party without being corrupted in the interim will be blackmailed, bought out, or destroyed in a primary.
On a more personal note, I will never vote Republican again if Trump doesn't pull this out. The system as it stands now is nothing more than a WWE analog, where we're given heroes and heels to vote for, but the outcomes have already been determined long in advance. That said, if there isn't a third option that I believe I can trust, I simply won't bother voting at all after this.
