Hijacking your comment for visibility.

The issue is he's an idiot. He conflates overturning an election with rejecting the electors of a fraudulent election. Yes there isn't a way to overturn an election because that would imply a body of people can choose to flip the result of the election. It does not prevent them from rejecting the results of the election only to hold their own in the house and senate.

It's not being overturned, its that the result of said election cannot in good faith be verified or certified at the federal level due to the overwhelming amount of evidence provided at the objection. Rejecting the results of an election is not overturning it, legally speaking. It's rejecting it on the grounds that it cannot be reliably proven. No winner is declared when an election is rejected. It's a core fundamental difference and misunderstanding that I believe he really needs to understand. Reading and critical thinking is hard, but it shouldn't be a roadblock for someone who is elected, it's ultimately his choice but all choices have consequences and everyone here should let him know that much as well.

tldr; Overturning an election and rejecting an election are different things, and conflating the two is a morons take to avoid responsibility of a decision.

The mere fact he has the option to object is proof he has absolutely no fucking idea what he's talking about. If it wasn't possible you wouldn't have the ability to fucking vote on it.

43
Fabius 43 points ago +57 / -14

Even simpler is this:

He doesn't believe there was election fraud. Which means he's an idiot.

Keep in mind he's also black, which means his tribe will vote for him regardless.

51
weholdthesetruths 51 points ago +51 / -0

Simpler still: he's not an idiot. He's compromised.

22
AppleSlices 22 points ago +23 / -1

I'd argue compromised people are idiots. Who the fuck sells out their own country for benefit?

9
faucipolice 9 points ago +10 / -1

Especially when that benefit is tied to the country you're benefitting from.

What is it worth to have all your wealth trapped in USD if Biden destroys the USD? You've now sold out your own country for literal pennies. You also have the added benefit of having 2A enacted upon your office because you brought the country to its knees.

I agree, but I fear "regular people" will become the greedy, lying politicians eventually. Term limits would be a great way to reduce the exposure and benefits of corruption. You can't just bribe/blackmail one person for 50 years, you have to keep doing it causing a much higher degree of difficulty keeping it a secret for decades. It might make being a politician more about temp. service than a get-rich career. That's just my 2 cents on the issue.

6
faucipolice 6 points ago +6 / -0

Not really, you can believe there is election fraud and think objecting to the election is overturning it.

It's a fundamental lack of understanding and there are two scenarios that someone being completely consistent can be in.

  1. Believes fraud occurred but an objection is a direct attempt to overturn the result of the election. As in, the election went to biden fraudulently, but every level up to the federal verified and certified it so it's overturning at their point.

  2. Believes fraud occurred but to object is to act in bad faith due to it being verified and certified at the local and state levels.

  3. Believes no fraud occurred and to object is unreasonable due to it being verified and certified at the local and state levels. Pressure from a mob of people isn't sufficient to sway opinion.

Sure we can argue how he doesn't believe fraud exists, but I think his statement more forwardly states that he won't object because he doesn't see a viable or constitutional reason to. To sway his opinion it must be made clear that rejecting the results is not overturning the election. It is just an outright rejection of the elections in the states which have evidence of fraud presented at the objection. There is no declared winner when the results are rejected because there was no one elected as the election was rejected. So there must be a new election to determine the winner. Tim clearly has his opinions but I think they are a deeply flawed interpretation of the English language to conflate reject meaning to overturn.

If the people who elected him demand an objection then it is his duty to object. If he goes against the will of his own people then his own people need to hold him accountable in whatever way they deem fit under the constitution, with the same prejudice that Tim used to refuse to object. He should definitely know that much.

Edit:

Keep in mind he's also black, which means his tribe will vote for him regardless.

I mean, sure. That much is irrelevant when it comes to his poor understanding of English.

3
julianReyes 3 points ago +3 / -0

Further hijacking for this.

TELL HIM AND OTHERS SPECIFICALLY TO MEET WITH A SENATOR/REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SAME STATE TO MUTUALLY SIGN LETTERS OBJECTING TO MICHIGAN, PENNSYLVANIA, ARIZONA, GEORGIA AND WISCONSIN'S ELECTORAL VOTES INDIVIDUALLY.

8
Mooma 8 points ago +8 / -0

Why bother with a Senate at all. Just give McCONnell 50 votes, and call it a day. A Senator that cannot think for himself is just a puppet. What good a Senators if they simply follow their marching orders.

6
SaltySlug 6 points ago +6 / -0

Great comment and accurate. A biden election victory cannot currently be proven and certified with any confidence

6
ZeroDeltaTango 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yes.

Rudy should quit saying "overturn". There is nothing to overturn. Any election result that is certified based on fraud is itself fraudulent. Therefore it is already null and void. OF COURSE you reject that.

The election was won by Trump. He doesn't want to overturn it. He wants to confirm the correct result.

1
PresidentErectHunter 1 point ago +1 / -0

He will say that it is a matter for the State to fix their elections.

Not for the Federal to fix State problems. That is not their place barring some extreme situation where the State is overrun by Communists.

Every one of these States are run by Republicans.

Every one of these States are run by Republican State Legislatures.

1
faucipolice 1 point ago +1 / -0

He will say that it is a matter for the State to fix their elections.

Ah, so if I cheat and run against you it's your fault that your elections were rigged against you?

Not for the Federal to fix State problems. That is not their place barring some extreme situation where the State is overrun by Communists.

The federal government must ensure the republic stands under the constitution.

Every one of these States are run by Republicans.

The elections were not certified by those republicans, they were certified by authority delegated to the SoS and Governors.

Every one of these States are run by Republican State Legislatures.

Correct, and they were stupid to delegate running and certifying the elections to the same branch of power. They should have held the keys for certification not the SoS or Governors. The rules they set out for elections were violated and fraudulently certified by those that rigged the election.

Anyway, worth calling since someone is apparently answering right now.

14
guten_morgen 14 points ago +14 / -0

What is the point in voting on something if you're only allowed to vote aye? Then that's not a vote. People don't seem to get that.

It was the same thing as certifying the results. Canvassers were being told it was their job to certify, rather than to examine the facts and make a determination to certify or not.

10

In the Inferno, there are nine circles which make up Hell. Past the ones where the lustful (circle 2) and greedy (circle 4) are sent, is the circle for fraudsters. Malebolge (circle 8) contains the flatterers and sowers of discord and so on. Their torment is incomprehensible, with the usual fires and pitchforks we normally think of when imagining Hell.

Past them is the bottom, circle 9, reserved for traitors. It’s a giant icy lake, where the condemned are submerged to various degrees. The warmth of God’s light is denied to them. Since they betrayed the trust of people in life, only a dark icy fate can reflect their heart.

Which level do you think these fucksticks belong in for betraying a nation?

8
LawlfulEvil 8 points ago +9 / -1

You're being too merciful; I'd banish them to the tenth layer of Hell.

Little is known about the mysterious tenth layer, beyond the fact that it is reserved for pedophiles and communists. I, however, happen to be in possession of a lost Dead Sea Scroll which describes the torments that go on in this deepest, most terrible layer of Hell!

The tenth layer of Hell consists of an infinite number of alternate realities, each of which is identical in all respects except one: the identity of Donald Trump. Each person sentenced to this layer of Hell is forced to take on the role of President Trump, and they are required to put up with all of the bullshit and retardation he has had to deal with over the course of his first term, without actually possessing any of his genius, patience, or other virtues. According to the scroll, no one has ever managed to make it past the first year of his presidency without either going completely mad or committing suicide.

1
MasterOfIllusions 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm gonna recommend the "10th circle," as described by Chaucer:

An angel led [the friar] up and down to ferret

Among the torments - various kinds of fire -

And yet he never saw a single friar

Though he saw plenty of other kinds of folk

In pain enough. At last this friar spoke:

"Sir, are the friars in such a state of grace,"

He said, "none ever come into this place?"

"Why, yes," the angel answered, "many a million!"

And led him down to Lucifer's pavilion.

"Satan," the angel said, "has got a tail

As broad or broader than a barge's sail.

Hold up thy tail, thou Satan!" then said he,

"Show forth thine arse and let the friar see

The nest ordained for friars in this place!"

Ere the tail rose a furlong into space

From underneath it there began to drive,

Much as if bees were swarming from a hive,

Some twenty thousand friars in a rout

And swarmed all over Hell and round about,

And then came back as fast as they could run

And crept into his arse again, each one.

There's zero loyalty in corrupt third world politics. You have leverage and use it, or you get stabbed in the back. Trump had the DoJ for 4 years and didn't use it. The Turtle has tbe power of committee appointment, rules, calling votes, and "other" leverage, and the Turtle fucking uses it .. that's why we see Mitch smiling without worry and Trump fighting for his political life.

14
tom_terrific2 14 points ago +15 / -1

Now it makes me laugh all over again at the dippy fucks who gushed about this twit maybe being the first black American president someday, right after he said something nice about Trump

tdw is all over the map

Scott - Don Jr. - Pence - Ivanka - Eric - Hawley - Jordan - Gaetz - DeSantis - Noem

At the rally last night, Jr. did not brush off a call-out from the audience to run. Instead he chose to stop in mid-sentence, acknowledge and thank the person, and say FIRST let's finish the business at hand.

He could have said no, or nothing at all.

He also recently retweeted a headline like Trump Could Run in 2024...accompanied by a pic of the president smiling and pointing directly at Jr., also smiling.

He could have not retweeted it.

But I just listened to what Tim Scott (and Trump, to be fair) said about it. That's what they said.

Criminal justice reform was something that Jared Kushner advocated for by himself

Yes, the law and order conservative party now advocating for lesser sentencing for crimes. I also know this disproportionately affects black people because our jails are disproportionately full of black people.

Got this BS reply the other day. Will call again...

Thank you for writing me regarding the 2020 election. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on this important event, as well as the opportunity to respond.

Please know that I regard the proper administration of our elections as a top priority for our nation. Public trust in the legitimacy of our government and core institutions rests on the strength and integrity of the democratic system, and we must make consistent efforts to keep our processes and traditions free, fair, and accountable.

My staff has worked both to monitor and, when appropriate, to assist in raising and ensuring a swift resolution regarding any and all credible allegations of voter impropriety or other challenges to election integrity. Formal complaints along these lines warrant a full, fair, and thorough investigation, and the American people deserve to know, with robust confidence, that our elections were conducted with all requisite protections and safeguards for integrity in place. Throughout the nation, we have numerous legal avenues available for aggrieved parties to investigate, audit, defend, or otherwise seek to resolve claims of illegal activity that risks compromising our elections. Many of these processes are currently underway across numerous states and municipalities, and I fully support the right of those who have chosen to leverage legal means to pursue resolution to do so, regardless of the outcome.

Please know that my colleagues and I will remain engaged as we, like you, follow the investigations and litigation that remain underway. The future of our country depends on the integrity of our elections and the confidence that people have in our democratic institutions.

Again, thank you for sharing your perspective with me; I hope that you will continue to do so in the future. If I can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of my staff.

For more information, please visit my website at www.scott.senate.gov and subscribe to my monthly e-newsletter. I also encourage you to follow me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/SenatorTimScott and Twitter: www.twitter.com/SenatorTimScott for daily updates.

Sincerely,

Tim Scott United States Senator

Wrong. That's not being a fucking cuck. How else are we gonna fix the GOP? You don't deliver a message by voting for them. They can fucking lose. I hope the RINOs in Georgia both lose today. Stop being a slave to the GOP. It's always "well in 2 years, then we'll fix the GOP". Done with it. Everyone that didn't support Trump, I will vote against them no matter what. Gladly. Maybe they should be they claim to be and do what they say they're gonna do. It's not my fault.

Most of the worst policies have come from the GOP. The GOP had the chance to repeal Obamacare and they didn't. They had the chance to fund the wall and they didn't. What are they doing for us? What are they stopping the Dems from doing?

Their good ol boy club is gonna burn down.

Again, almost every bad policy ruining this nation has come from or been approved by the GOP.

The fucking SOLUTION is to punish the GOP. Make them learn that they have to work for us. Everyone that backstabbed Trump, never vote for them again.

If the senate majority meant so much, they'd FIGHT for the White House to keep the VP tiebreaker. But they didn't. They wanted Trump gone and to keep their faggot majority. It's honestly mindblowing you people can't see how obvious this is.

Solution is to fix the GOP and hope to control a major political party and make it work for us. We take a short term hit (where honestly things will be the exact fucking same and everybody knows it) with the long term goal of making the GOP actual conservatives.

Anyone scared of Dem control and thinking fucking Loeffler and Perdue are gonna be the deciding factor in muh socialism is just ignorant. Our Republican senators are meeting with a Soros funded group and Chuck Schumer working on Biden's proposed amnesty RIGHT NOW.

LOEFFLER EARLIER THIS WEEK refused to say if she would support Trump's inclusion of section 230 into the NDAA. She ducked the answer and said "hurr durr I support the military." She couldn't even give lip service to supporting Trump.

You don't punish the GOP later because later will never come. I want them out and you GOP Plantation cucks are embarrassing. Like fucking Tim Scott stands for shit. Bought and sold. I'd try to untuck my balls if I was shilling for the fuckimg GOP.

I'm sure this will make Democrats happy. I don't care. They have no idea what's coming under Democrat governance. We were protecting them, too. In two years you'll have people coming to this site saying, "I voted for Biden and now...". Fuck them. It's all over. Too late. Now you suffer.

Do a minimal amount of research before you post shit like this. Tim Scott is the only black Republican senator that there is. The Republican party for all of its faults doesn't do affirmative action.

https://www.republicanleader.senate.gov/senate-resources/republican-senators

I don't like his actions here and wish he'd support Trump, but this isn't a race issue and doesn't need to be made into one. Black Republicans like Burgess Owens and Allen West have supported Trump through this fraud election.

People like you hurt the MAGA cause.

thesas 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh really who gives a shit what color he is... But because hes black wenall have to kiss his ass ... Fuck that... He is POS rino ... Got his seat by being appointed. Now he wants to stab trump and freedom in the back??? I dont care what color he is but i know cucks like you do thats why i posted that.

Dtom13 0 points ago +1 / -1

Oh really who gives a shit what color he is...

You mentioned it, not me.

But because hes black wenall have to kiss his ass

Says who?

Got his seat by being appointed.

He was appointed initially, was elected by the voters in 2014 and was re-elected by the voters in 2016.

Now he wants to stab trump and freedom in the back??? I dont care what color he is but i know cucks like you do

Not at all. If I lived in South Carolina I'd primary the shit out of him for letting down the president.

FOUR_MORE_TERMS 7 points ago +8 / -1

Guy that answered told me Scott doesn't think objecting to the vote is constitutional. It's in the constitution.

If you're in SC and reading this, vote the fucker out. Ridiculous. I'll vote for his Democrat challenger. 100%. Done with these pieces of shit.

When I called, I said I was looking for a SC senator who supports the president. I said I was having trouble finding one. The kid said "Senator Scott supports the president." Yeah...but he won't object to this shit.

Give me that fag Jamie Harrison over this lying POS.

5
Helicopter_Latino 5 points ago +5 / -0

No no dont worry in 2022 the GOP will cry about the balance of the senate again and you will vote like a good establishment slave. Now is the time to gut the GOP and show them we will nuke them the fuck out if we have to.

We will turn on them faster than we did with Fox News. Like Dominon vote swapping... that fast.

Oh, absolutely. Trump put Scott in the limelight. Gave him all the credit for criminal justice reform and opportunity zones. Then this fucker disappears. It's maddening. I will vote for anyone who runs against him. AOC can move here and run against him and I'll proudly vote for her. Seriously. Done with fucking RINOs.

2
ionian 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's a pattern - they all accept his endorsement and then all turn their back on him, from scott, to kemp, to barrett. I really think Trump wasn't ready for politics - he treated it like business where there's some loyalty. I don't think he was prepared for politics where there's ZERO loyalty.

I’ve moved on from hoping that Washington D.C. will fix anything. They don't care.

The fact is, the people who live and work in Washington live in their own mini-country, with their own rules, laws, culture, and identity. Politics is a game to them. They trade votes and sign legislation without any thought for the consequences, because there are no consequences to them. They don’t worry about the price of gas, or bread, or electricity. They can't fathom what it means to be a real person living under their heel.

They don't see themselves as working for the people. To them, we are their subjects. Some of them want to be good tyrants who try and listen to the needs of the people, others care nothing for us, but all of them see us the way feudal lords view their subjects.

Tim Scott seems like a nice guy. He's a very Ned Stark kind of dude. Unfortunately he is bending the knee to King Joe(ffry) Biden.

Called.

Nice young lady answered.

Gave my full name with my location. Too damn old to worry about Pantyfa and DeepState fags.

Advised her in a very pleasant way that my wife and I made several hundred calls and knocked on doors hours on end for Graham and Mace here in the Low Country. We will be putting that effort into aiding every primary opponent of those that do not support President Trump.

Then reminded her to have a very nice day.

6
GlacialSpeed 6 points ago +6 / -0

Called, they have staff answering.

Explained that the fraud is real and there's tons of evidence and sworn affidavits.

Told them if they don't object to the fraud I'll back anyone who challenges Tim Scott and add him to my "never donate, always oppose" list of RINOS.

I just spoke to a staffer. I asked this gentleman if he has been informed why Senator Scott does not want to object. He told me that Senator Scott feels that there was not enough fraud to make a difference and overturn the election. Additionally he told me Senator Scott feels that there isn’t enough evidence for Congress or the courts to step in and overturn the election and he feels that the vice president has taken substantial leads in the contested states and there is no viable option for Donald Trump and the second term. Needless to tell you all my Pede family that I tried to remind myself that the gentleman I was speaking to was not Senator Scott and be somewhat civil LOL however I did give the gentleman a piece of my mind. I asked him if Senator Scott read the constitution and he told me he certainly has and I said it doesn’t sound like it because there’s quite a few options of amendments that come in to play here. Moreover, I asked him so Senator Scott would agree that America just woke up one day in midst of all the accomplishments that Donald Trump has achieved for America, given the list goes on and on and I cited many of the stats that Donald Trump has under his belt and I said to this gentleman so Senator Scott Would agree that America just woke up one morning with all of these good things happening peace breaking out in other parts of the world and said let’s go ahead and elect a pedophile rapist communist criminal who is in severe decline of health and can’t figure out his right Hand from his left hand. The staffer really didnt have an answer for that. I didn’t told him that I live in one of the most blue states in the country, I said I live in New York and we have a dumb ass for a mayor and a moron for a governor whose brother is a clown and we have our own problems here. I am just calling to push for the cause because if Senator Scott doesn’t think that this was an absolute hijacking then he can go sit at the RINO lunch table as well because he doesn’t belong here.

Dear Pede Family, How’d I do? Lol

Republicans: "We lost but at least we gained some non-white votes". There are great non-whites but the GOP is forcing themselves too much on people who won't vote majorly for them.

2
Jonesendglobalism 2 points ago +2 / -0

Republicans are pathetic, they need to be bullied/threatened into doing our will or they must be removed.

5
Pederella 5 points ago +5 / -0

Called. Got a nice young lady who asked a few questions. Don't know if they are really 'passing it on to the senator', but she didn't blow me off. Emphasized the preponderance of fraud evidence, legitimacy of the challenge, Dems challenging multiple elections with no evidence, not regretting what you did but what you didn't do and finally the self preservation that voters will remember who challenges and who does not.

2

Traitor. Trump used to praise him all the time for Opportunity Zones but now he has backstabbed him.

3

I watched survivor winners at winner. It is like watching Jeremy (tim scott) support Natalie (not voting to overcome fraud) over Tony (trump) because Tony screwed up one and Jeremy is petty to the extreme after all the praising Tony did for Jeremy

He always pretended to support Trump. Turns out he's just an opportunist. PRIMARY HIM!

4
digitalminion 4 points ago +4 / -0

People tell me "how great a person he is" but I only care about the policies and laws he supports. I'd rather have a drunk asshole who votes for me to keep my money and my freedom than this "great guy" who's just a socialist with a Republican nametag.

I've called him a lot of times. His office actually picks up the phone, unlike Lindsey Graham's which always goes to voicemail. I always get a canned response from both.

His office told me he voted for the Omnibus because it had "good things he wanted."

Neither he, nor Graham will ever get a vote from me again.

4
CryptoMonger 4 points ago +4 / -0

Too busy looking for the evil white nationalists to bother objecting.

4
IWanttotalknow 4 points ago +4 / -0

It seems weird to me that of all people, Tim Scott would not support. Yeah, call me naive, but he seemed like a good dude on Verdict. Hard to believe he'd be like "No, we need to accept fraud, because it makes people believe their vote matters." That logic is insane.

4
Phishhed44 4 points ago +4 / -0

Called. Gal sounded like she’d heard many calls, but she listened. Told her he may as well forget being re-elected if he didn’t object, that it’s Constitutional, and we would vote him out otherwise.

3

3

I am a SC resident as of this week. I told the DC Office staff I will run against Tim and that I was a Trump Republican! TheDonald.win people must support Trump Republicans in the future who run against swamp dwellers. We have momentum and dedication.
