Then he took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a single instant. The devil said to him, “I shall give to you all this power and their glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I may give it to whomever I wish. All this will be yours, if you worship me.” (Luke 4:5-6)

The Devil makes this same deal to everyone with political power the whole world over, and many take him up on that deal.

Spiritual warfare is real, and politics is the arena where the Evil One has the most power. If we could see the battles being waged over our souls, we would all die of fright.
