Holy shit! I got one of those mailers about buying animals for Africans one year when my kids were still little, and pretended I thought it was such a great idea, look how happy the African kids are to have a new goat, they already had so much wouldn't this be a great idea instead of buying more crap they don't need - I got weeks of fun tormenting them with that shit! Prior years my fake scenario was having an orphan that was their age / gender come over on Christmas and sit with them to open presents, with the orphan getting first dibs on each present!
