Is this fucking true?! I don't want to be misled with false hope one last time. I'm sick of this shit.

Lot's of misinfo running around here! From those states that sent two elector slates, Pence can choose which ones to certify. So he certifies the Trump ones. It's that simple. Pence has always shown unwavering support for Trump, so why wouldn't he now? You see the desperation from the shill's when this is the best lie they can resort to. Edit: And then there's the possibility of contingent election, about which to be fair I don't really know the details, but it's either one of those tomorrow.

He can't change them.

But he can reject them, sending it to a contingent election.

What's a contingent election?

If neither candidate gets 270, it goes to an election in which each state gets a single vote. Assuming that nobody breaks party lines, with 27 Republican and 23 Democrat state legislatures, Trump would win.

I heard, but did not confirm, that the Constitution prevents one from breaking party lines in a contingent vote.

Who said he can't?

Oh, wait, Democrats, who stand the most to profit if people believe their lies.

So is the January 6th plan dead too? Where is the hope?

He can't.

But some States sent two skates of electors.

Pence could direct State Legislatures to determine which one to use.

Why can't Pence pick the alternate electors?

Thomas Jefferson did it when he was VP. That's how he became President.
