I heard there's a way to shit on Android's operating system and basically remove anything Google related on certain handsets. I can't remember where I saw it or where to find it. It looked like a ton of work, but I'd be using that if I had a decent Android device. I think it involves reinstalling a Gab affiliated OS or something. I think I saw from u/Shepherds_sling somewhere... Maybe he can tell you more about it
Edit: The real sell for this is it cuts out Google spying + you can download android apps and it's all compatible. I think it works best on Google Pixel phones, but I think there were some other devices it worked with as well.

Long story short it really depends on how much time/effort are you willing to put into it. From installing a non-Google ROM from scratch, to installing a de-bloated ROM version for your device (with no Google tools) and using mirror app-stores like AuroraOSS like I do.
Just Google it, or better yet, Starpage/Qwant/DuckDuck it 😁 and you will find lots of good information.
