Let's say Trump had an expectation for Pence to coward out and the votes to go against him on jan 6th but he had a plan to somehow still end up winning. Like if he activated the military after that point and everything to this point was to justify that. But then why invite the crowd? It's a serious morale loss and he knows that Patriots are ready to go 1776 on this. It could cost some people their lives. It would make MAGA look like BLM in terms of violence instead of taking the high road like they've done so far. The move if he expected Jan 6th to be an L would be to not have the crowd.
So the results should be neutral or good on Jan 6th if everything is going to Trump's plan.
Devils Advocate is not very kosher round here depending on the post, but my add-on to this is that he just tweeted “be there, will be wild!” fairly late into the evening. It’s at least POSSIBLE he could’ve not thought too much into what he was tweeting. I pray I’m wrong, now there’s just thousands of people who spent thousands of dollars on travel in this mix.
to think that everything that Trump has said was carefully calculated would be silly. He's definitely dug holes for himself with his statements from time to time. It's fine though. I wanted an honest open president. I'm praying for a miracle tomorrow.
That’s my thoughts exactly. I have no choice, until the 20th or possibly a short time beyond, to believe Trump has a master plan in play. Was having everyone show up in DC a crucial part of that plan? Really don’t think so.
