This opens up additional options. The 6th is not the end of it, and VP Pence (or enough objections) can easily delay this thing to next week. As the President of the Senate and the one presiding over the count, I think that Pence should give Cruz his ten day audit, which gives these legislatures enough time to reconvene.

The states can de-certify until the inauguration.

I don't think un-counting would fly.

With who, you? The states can do whatever they want, it’s their plenary power, read Article II.

The Constitution says the President of the Senate counts the vote. Once he's counted the vote, un-counting would be extraconstitutional.

How does this even fucking work when Congress counts them tomorrow?

Because there's more than one way to delay until next week.

Pence will not count the votes of the six states until they get their shit together.

Pennsylvania, Georgia and Wisconsin already on board. Pence kicks it back tomorrow, 12th Amendment stomps the 1887 act, the states do the rest, Trump’s hand on the Bible on the 20th.

Cautiously optimistic that this happens!
