I agree... but man its hard.

A liberal coworker told me the other day "don't assume that all democrats support all of these wild policies" and I responded something like this (I'm sure in the heat of the moment it was less eloquent than this, but you get the idea): "I just spent the last four years being called a bigot, racist, homophobe and a Nazi because I voted republican... Now I am supposed to refrain from accusing you of supporting child murder, genital mutilation, and the destruction of the core values of our society? Nah, not gonna happen, baby killer."

We should be able to discuss our differences of opinion since we have fundamental agreements. But it's more likely that you'll be attacked as if you were a commie scumbag if someone disagrees with your opinion.
