I am an oldster. There has never been a president in my lifetime who has actually made me smile and, I don't know, just feel warm and fuzzy inside. And other times bring tears to my eyes with his patriotism. President Trump has taught me how to be an American. I love him.
Pretty much everything written about Nero is a lie. Cassius Dio, Tacitus, and Suetonius were partisan hacks who hated Nero. He was a populist, thus the people in power wanted him gone. There was a legend that made the rounds after Nero's death. It was called "Nero redivivus" in which Nero would return and be restored to his Empire. He was actually very popular among the common folk. Also, he wasn't even in Rome when it was burning. When the fire broke out, he was in Antium, which is like 30 miles from Rome. He immediately returned to help and provide what relief he could.
On Nero, or anything History related? I was a History major in college so I have tons of recommendations. Knowing History is really just about having an interest in it. I read and study it everyday because of how obsessed I am with it. But, everyone should know about the life of Julius Caesar. His campaigns in Gaul, Briton, Egypt, Pontus, Africa, the Civil War were the stuff of legends. He once was captured by Pirates, and when they told him what they were going to ransom him for, he became offended and told them they could get much more for him than what they were originally asking (sure enough, they did end up getting more than double their original demand). While captive, he would literally boss them around as if he was their commander. He would force them to listen to his writings and poetry, and then berate them as illiterates if they weren't sufficiently impressed. He even told them that when he was set free, he would return and have them crucified. Sure enough, he returned and had them crucified. I could speak for days on how great of a man Caesar was. Far greater even than Alexander the Great.
What is coming?
Something that cannot be stopped, that's for sure.
And its mystery is only exceeded by its power
We win.

I sure hope that this isn't representative of the next Nero.

How does one learn such things against the mainstream perverted white- and (black-) washing of history
You think you're redpilled until you read someone on the internet telling you everything you know about nero is a lie
