Just got to my hotel. I see Trump boomers all over the place. In the restaurants, in the hotel, in the lobby, in the CVS, on the road, at the gas station, at the bar, in the mall, on the street. Everywhere!

Indeed. As do older Gen Xers. We grew up with the very real threat of Commie Russian Nuclear war. I remember every day walking to school thinking "I wonder if we will get destroyed in a nuclear strike today". not shitting.

Story time. I'm a former Air Force brat and was in high school at an air base in West Germany in 1985. One day the principal of the high school came over the intercom and told us to stand by for an important announcement. You could hear the stress in his voice. We all immediately thought that war had kicked off with the Soviets and that the missiles would be hitting us shortly. This was the height of the Cold War and we knew that we would be one of the first targets for any attack.

Several tense minutes followed before the principle came back over the intercom and announced that a bomb had been found on one of the U.S. school buses in another part of West Germany. We were advised to be especially vigilant regarding any unattended or suspicious items on our buses. This was at a time when the Red Army Faction (German commies) were doing bombings, kidnappings, and assassinations across West Germany.

Let me tell you, we all collectively breathed a sigh of relief after that announcement that we weren't facing nuclear armageddon. We were already used to worrying about Red Army Faction terrorist attacks.

I am an Air Force brat, raised during the Cuban missile crisis and the murder of JFK. I remember seeing Sputnik for the first time over our heads and how my mom was afraid. I remember Duck and Cover drills...none of us had any idea we’d still die, but we practiced for the dropping of a nuke. I remember many things...that’s why they want us dead...we know stuff.

25
D357 25 points ago +27 / -2

No way duck and cover would’ve saved anybody...not without a mask on.

15
CuomoisaMassMurderer 15 points ago +16 / -1

We had no masks. No rona either, lol

6
mct1 6 points ago +7 / -1

Depends on what year we're talking about. ICBMs weren't a thing until 1957, and even then the number of deployed rockets were relatively small into the early 1960s, and most payloads weren't that large (relatively speaking), such that the odds were good that if a CONELRAD alert went out and you hit the deck you were probably going to survive unless you were an unlucky victim of one of those few ICBMs, or just happened to be at the hypocenter of a bomb run. For everyone else, survival was a thing.

As far as masks... a mask wouldn't really have been all that useful due to the limited number of bombs involved before, say, 1962. For a good idea of strategic rocket force dispositions at that time, check here, or go here for to get the numbers directly.

Ditto Yep. That desk of laminate, pressed wood and sheet metal was going to protect us from a nooklar blast.

25
boomerbutnotOKBoomer 25 points ago +26 / -1

They had us all prepped to run into the - ready for it? - FUCKING BOILER ROOM!!! So if a bomb hit, we would all be immediately cooked to death by the fucking bursting Boiler tank.

My kid story: I had just moved to a new school. Our teacher was a good Catholic lady who made us pray and sing God Bless America every morning at the start of school.

I remember coming in to class and she was just taking roll. All of a sudden there was a knock at her door. She went out to the hallway. We heard her scream, "No! NO! Oh GOD NO!"

We sat wide-eyed alone in that classroom for what seemed to be an eternity. She finally came in, sobbing, holding a hanky up to her face and shaking her head. You know kids, we were just shocked to see her fall apart. She finally went up to the blackboard and wrote, "Our beloved President Jack Kennedy has been murdered. School is out for the rest of the day. Please go home to your parents and pray." She was unable to speak. We all stood up, gathered our stuff and solemnly walked out of the classroom and went home like good little soldiers.

My town was a largely Catholic town and the Catholics took this assassination personally. Many of them still do.

I remember what she wrote on the board like it was yesterday. For me it was the odd familiarity of Jack instead of John F. That's how proud and connected the Catholics were to this first Catholic President. It was more than a political thing. And she didn't say assassinated. She said murdered. That made it more real. I think the word assassinated makes it sound so distant and formal.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +6 / -1

Yeah, the Cuban missile crisis era and a decade plus following that was more "the height of the cold war" Stateside than anything in the 80's. At least in terms of what was told to the public.

Although in Germany, that's another thing entirely.

-2
Anaconda -2 points ago +3 / -5

i don't know. the 1980s cold war was pretty scary too. the soviets were dying economically even by their low standards of living and all it would have taken for nuclear war to happen was a handful of generals in siberia start shooting nukes in protest against gorbachev's perestroika and glasnost. it is a miracle and fluke that the backlash against gorbachev by other communists in the govt and military didn't happen until 1991. imagine if hardliner brezhnev/stalin types fired gorbachev in 1989 during the fall of the berlin wall and made sure to keep the soviet system intact at the very least. soviet union could have survived the 1989 disasters in the other warsaw pact countries if the soviet hardliners had moved quickly in late 1989.

Early 60's Cali Duck & Cover was disguised as earthquake drill. Navy brat - moved to Key West in September 1962 - right smack in the middle of what was a war zone. Hawk missiles and Marines all over the island. Movie "Matinee" with John Goodman catches some of the period.

Shit hot show today in the crap weather in DC. Somehow I missed on the volume of the effort that was conducted on our behalf today. In the 80s, I had a theme t-shirt that said "Kill a Commie for Mommy". One of my favorites.

Air Force brat living at Cdn base in Germany during Cuban Missile Crisis. We were told that missiles were aimed at our base. Air raid sirens would sound, every kid ran home to the bunkers in our apartment bldg. Quite a sight seeing hundreds of little kids running, crying, terrified, some wetting their pants. The mother’s and children would stay in the bunker until the all-clear. I still remember the worried look on my mother’s face.

5
AnaMerican_1776 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, it might do all pedes well to watch the original Red Dawn, no matter how many times you've seen it and especially if you haven't.

It's lots of Hollywood fake stuff, of course, but there are kernels of truth in there, and plenty of inspiration for the reality of what has happened plenty of times in the past during partisan resistances.

It's crazy to realize that I am typing this about my country that I remember being so different not so long ago. However, as a student of history, I know that that has been thought countless times by countless peoples as they found themselves at an inflection point...they never thought that their fine nation would be poisoned from within. And, there are those that went gently into the night of their former existence, and there are those that fought viscously to return to their past glory.

I still believe there are many more viscous lovers of liberty than there are gentle attendants to the commie insurgency.

Even I knew there was fuckery afoot, and I was totally apolitical.

4
CaucasianCurmudgeon 4 points ago +5 / -1

Very capable, understood power and how to use it. Will never understand his not contesting the 1960 election which was clearly stolen; he did it "for the good of the country". He was right and wrong at the same time. While a very competent President and pretty conservative, he established the EPA and instituted wage and price controls. I remember thinking, WTF?!? I wasn't happy with the opening with China, but Nixon was no fool like the Presidents following Reagan up until GEOTUS. He knew that peeling Red China away from the slime sucking Siberian snow pimps would complicate the hell out of the Russkie's lives, and he never conceded a damn thing to them, so on balance it was a brilliant move. His successors with the exception of Reagan and GEOTUS were the ones who fucked it all up.

8
DaLoneVoice 8 points ago +8 / -0

I am from Minnesota MANY MANY TORNADOS! I am also from the 60s born and in elementary school we had NUCLEAR and TORNADO drills. The difference was the DESK or the HALLWAY! IN a tornado drill we went into hallways and lined up on the walls. In the nuclear drills we sat under our desks!

Completely different drills!

8
ZeroDeltaTango 8 points ago +9 / -1

Because everyone knows the best protection against nuclear radiation is a DESK... in the same way that the best protection against airborne viruses is a MASK.

4
CactusCactus 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's all about ego for those fuckers. They know they prefer capitalism in their own lives (hell, most of them are upper class, if not wealthy themselves). But they put on a front about wanting socialism/communism, just for the virtue signaling points and to go against the grain of what other people in their generation are like. They know they'll never actually have to live like a socialist/communist and will always have their home, iPhone, Tesla, and other capitalist niceties.

Who knows what they'd do if the shit they're advocating for actually worked, and they found themselves in a communist society.

Despicable, unbelievably selfish behavior. So easy to see right through them.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is not even close to a fair summary. Marxists started subverting US academia in 1921. You can't blame that on baby boomers. By 1964 the oldest baby boomers were 18 and not getting hired into teaching positions or administration, but many key positions were already covertly taken over by Marxists who would hire Marxists Professors every chance they got. By 1974 the amount of baby boomers hired into such positions was still incredibly small.

Yes, an older demographic votes Republican. As they die off, the trash traitorous RepubliCANT party will lose more. Despite that demographic, the leftist boomers are where they need to be to END America this century. Many of the SJWs will simply continue to destroy America.

I think there's a thing for people who couldn't go to DC. Honk a car horn at noon tomorrow or something.

Lot harder for a twenty something with a shitty job to go, or one with a great job who could be setting themselves back among their peers

At lot people keep forgetting the Cost of Living isn't what it used to be.

McDonald's Dollar Menu doesn't even exist anymore. It's more like $2 now.

Haven't you people ever heard of the term "cooking food?" Buy some food, cook some food, eat the food. It's always cheaper than buying shit food from shit places. Fucking laziness and complaining is all I see.

I don't care much for religion, but the teachings of the Bible are very much in alignment with the fundamental principles of science and the scientific method.

People like Dawkin are merely career academics larping as scientists and atheists are the antithesis of reason.

Anyone who says they "believe in science" are dumbasses. You don't believe in it. You accept it. Like you accept the axioms of mathematics.

3
loverat 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is how the Climate Change "scientists" work. If you don't investigate the narrative subjects and concur with the pre-conditioned answers you get no funding. And as we know people are greedy and lazy.

1
zwiebelsaft 1 point ago +1 / -0

Let's call a spade a spade here. What they have gone to is LeVeyan Satanism, which is basically edgelord-flavored atheism.

9
trollkin0331 9 points ago +11 / -2

The Catholic Church invented academia. Satanism corrupted it.

7
EUssr 7 points ago +7 / -0

I try to make it a point that we speak of "laws of nature" because of scientists' belief in the law giver whenever some of my peers in academia try to ride the atheism horseshit train.

5
trollkin0331 5 points ago +5 / -0

Atheism is the conclusion only of intellectual laziness. To believe in science is an inherited belief of believing in God. People's ridiculous beliefs about religion have all been formed by TV programming.

2
ProphetOfKek 2 points ago +3 / -1

Corrupted the Catholic Church or Academia?

2
trollkin0331 2 points ago +3 / -1

I was referring to academia. The Church has problems, I'm not qualified enough to speak on them in detail, and the low-hanging fruit isn't worth the time to point out.

0
deleted 0 points ago +5 / -5
4
RememberNichelle 4 points ago +6 / -2

Um... hon... who told you that? Was it the same person who told you that socialism and communism are okay? The Church saved and copied the books. The Church even saved the witches from the witchfearing laypeople, most of the time. Witchburning and bookburning largely happened in Protestant areas, sad to say. (Although bookburning as a policy came from pagan Roman law, actually. It's what you did to seditious books, or harmful magic books, or books on astrology predicting what would happen to the Emperor.)

Because the Catholic Church's continued existence was inconvenient for the UK government back in the day, there's a model of history that was promoted that is called "the black legend." Then there's another version which is mostly the same thing, which is called "the whig model."

The Catholic Church had its problems, and Protestant religion had reasons that people liked it. But the rise of Protestant kingdoms was all about Protestant kings having an easier time grabbing monastery and church property, or the properties of dissidents, and then redistributing them to their buddies and minions. (Although kings like Philip the Fair of France had already been doing that, to the Templars and the Cistercians.)

1

Carolina1 0 points ago +1 / -1

I believe it rose quickly because it showed that God's grace was available by faith. People could know God without having to go through a priest or Pope, making God accessible to everyone. This came when the Catholic church was a less accessible institution.

2
SWORDofLIBERTY 2 points ago +3 / -1

The catholic church "governed" and had a monopoly on academia. Which itself is a cancer that needs to die, cuz just like modern academia, it only stifles original thought. Academia that dictates what can and cannot be studied, and monopolizes who can get funding, was always corrupt.

4
trollkin0331 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm not Catholic but I'll take Catholic academia over atheist academia any day.

0
SWORDofLIBERTY 0 points ago +1 / -1

Catholic Academia had a strangle hold on basic ideas like the earth being the center of the earth, for centuries.

This modern academia, which isn't even atheist, if you look at the people in control, can't even keep a lid on all the shit they're trying to hide.

The modern evil is far lesser. Just cuz you didn't live it, doesn't make it preferable.

1
trollkin0331 1 point ago +2 / -1

Modern academia would be better off if it were atheist, rather than what it actually is. It tells quite a lot about you and your morals that you're defending modern-day academia.

I'll still take Catholic academia over the faggotry you're espousing.

If you're going to play the blame game then The Greatest Generation fucked us and the generation before that fucked us. The Globalist destruction and control of America didn't start with the Boomers. We have been simmering in a pot for 150+ years and the only reason people are waking up is because of the internet. Your blame game is destructive and does not benefit anybody but commies and globalists as they seek to divide and conquer.

6
Cyer6 6 points ago +6 / -0

Learn your fucking history dipshit. Every generation can be credited with great accomplishments and horrible decisions. I'm not a boomer but they and GenX'ers were brought up in the information age. A lot of good came from that, but it also opened the door to much more powerful propaganda.

Anyone who's raised a millennial will tell you how the internet and social media snuck up on them and their kids. It had a massive impact on the way they had to raise kids and understand what it was doing to everyone. Just like television and cable media, no one knew how the internet would impact all our lives.

5
GoatFace 5 points ago +5 / -0

Fuck you. You stupid son of a bitch! Most of us boomers were raising our kids and going out to work everyday day to make enough to live on. Just out of high school We were dragged into the Army except the cowards ran off to Canada to hide out until they got pardoned after almost 60,000 of us were killed in Vietnam. So Tuck you cheese dick. You just wish you could be a man like those men were. I doubt it you have the balls to have ever been a real boomer.

3
Carolina1 3 points ago +3 / -0

I upvoted you because you made me laugh.

I'm a boomer old lady. Grew up with 3 sisters. My dad was staunch Republican and we all were when we were in Florida during the Republican convention that nominated Nixon. All 4 of us teenage girls went to the airport to welcome the candidates. My oldest sister put on a mini-dress provided to those who wanted to be a "Nixon girl" and walked in a group through the airport with Nixon signs, singing campaign songs.

Then my oldest sister went to college, and my two other sisters were swept up in Beatlemania and then into all the music culture. All three were pretty quickly turned to leftists.

The Franklin school had indoctrinated Germany for the Nazi government and then set out to do the same when they took refuge in the US and England in the 1930's. They became ad men on Madison Ave, professors, writers of magazine and newspaper articles and influencers in the arts. They had influenced all of British and American society for 20 years by the time my sisters became liberal/socialist. I believe that a lot of the higher-ups in institutions who gave room for the Franklin School refugees were socialists themselves. Communism/socialism were very popular among the "elite" in the '30's, and they welcomed their comrades into influential positions in the US. Non-elites like my parents did the best they could to teach us and warn us against wrong doctrines, but the communist influence was really huge and perfect for teens seeking to rebel against parents.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +2 / -0

I watched you and your Sisters before and at that convention on TV. Small world! One of my older Sisters had to do a report on the election, so I wound up sitting through watching all of it that she did. That was more than enough to turn me apolitical until I heard Rush on the radio while driving a lot for work in the 90's.

3
NoMoreMao 3 points ago +3 / -0

Your generation are sucking the dicks of Marxists so fuck you.

-9
ProgramNerd -9 points ago +7 / -16

Yep, if boomers fix this election AND give up their CommieCare + Social Security (UBI for Republicans) then all will be forgiven. 35% of our paycheck goes directly to them because they didn't want to budget at our age.

If violence starts, will boomers stick around? Will they even be useful? No.

Until I see otherwise, this is a bunch of scared old people worried Biden will fuck up their retirement plans. It's the only thing that has ever moved them.

12
MAGA_Skydog 12 points ago +13 / -1

You're just an idiot. The boomers had a lot more confiscated to pay for the SS and Medicare recipients. And check the income tax rates in the late 70's!

3
NoMoreMao 3 points ago +5 / -2

Thank you for setting the stupid brain dead younguns straight. They’re the ones who find socialism appealing.

Could you imagine them fighting in the jungles of Vietnam or Laos?

Never in a million fucking years.

-2
ProgramNerd -2 points ago +2 / -4

If you spent less time fighting and more time doing math or educating yourself, you'd see that you put in $72 adjusted in your favor, for every $96 you take out.

It would also make it harder for them to lie to you.

4
NoMoreMao 4 points ago +4 / -0

If you spent more time realizing your generation is enamored with fucking socialism and has more to do with why we are this crossroad you would have less time to be bitching about SS.

If I would have had my way I never would have been forced to pay for SS because I could have invested it on my own and would have a lot more to show for it and you wouldn’t have anything to bitch about.

-1
ProgramNerd -1 points ago +4 / -5

Excuse me sir, this forum is for being retarded ironically.

From the head actuary of SS, adjusted for investments/inflation, they put $72 and take out $96. The extra $24 come from our paycheck. And that's not including the incredibly expensive medicaid.

"Boomers put in more then they take out," is a lie they tell themselves so they feel like they aren't baby commies.

Trump has talked at length about this and has even started taking steps to correct it by removing the payroll tax. Or are you actually trying to imply that Donald Trump, your president, also a boomer and as such unbiased, is an idiot?

5
Carolina1 5 points ago +5 / -0

I agree about Social Security and Medicare; however, I also see people who need help. Jobs used to give pensions. They changed to helping with 401k's. People who aren't the normal couple with good jobs (single mothers, physically or mentally challenged) have trouble putting in more than the minimum amount into their savings. Then recessions and health emergencies can take half or more of those savings. By the time they reach retirement age, they haven't been able to save enough. This is the case for a lot of people of retirement age I know.

0
ProgramNerd 0 points ago +1 / -1

That's too bad. It's not the government's problem. It's the church if anything. Government took over to split you up further and keep you dependent on it's tit.

If you left the problem alone, actual companies that were honest and effective without the corruption would spend money properly. e have them already.

Bring back donations and charity work.

-3
ProgramNerd -3 points ago +1 / -4

Read it again, if you benefit from social security or medicare in any way than it applies to you. Otherwise, you're just like Trump. Even including the money you pay in throughout your whole life, you take out 133% of what you put in. From the head of the social security, a financial analyst by trade. It's literally his job to calculate this.

The extra money you're using to pad your medicare and retirement, beyond the money you pay for each month, comes from us.

Is naming the elephant in the room a productive strategy? I think attacking the ideology (communism/globalism/central banking) is a better strategy because it reaches more normies. When a normie hears you call out a certain ethic group the conversation normally ends there. If our goal is to wake people up, why use a strategy that shuts people down. It's like a quarterback throwing hail mary's every play and cursing his team and coach when only 5% of them are successful.

Well I'm not a Boomer...so...... And it was the parents of the Boomers that were called the Greatest Generation.

But I would like to say that my mother is a Boomer. When I was 6 yrs old she had a drawer full of little white rectangle stickers that said 'SAY NO TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER'. She was way before her time. She put them on every piece of mail she sent out. This was in 1975. She was constantly making hundreds of copies of articles exposing the Democrats. She would make packets of them and give them to everyone she ran into. She would roll and rubber band hundreds of them and my sister and I would drive around for hours with her, reaching out the window putting them on people's mailboxes. She was at the abortion protests in Milwaukee in the 90's and was arrested. She raised me, a patriot, and I have raised 4 patriots myself.

Did Boomers mess up? Sure. But remember. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Every generation has and is messing up, because none are putting God as Lord. It's on all of us.

Lol, wut? I'm now 61, the useless commie hippies are just a bit before me. I was never a liberal. . I've been a conservative since I was 8 y.o., Nov 5, 1968. Nixon v. Humphrey. I bashed Carter at school as a teen (Class of '77). I voted for Reagan twice, I defended him at length. I debated idiotic college punks through the 90's, I insulted Al Gore's daughter to her face in '92. I threw a kegger when Newt flipped the House in '94. I watched the Bush v. Gore drama as a Texan, later found out W. was a p.o s. I wrote for Breitbart in the '00's. I finished two degrees at age 50, stood and argued with Leftists professors, had students thank me, because they were scared. I fist fought two Antifa punks on my property last year, beat both fucks half my age. I've done my bit. You do yours.

Yes because everyone born between 1946 and 1964 all had a secret meeting behind locked doors and agreed. On EVERYTHING.

Oh, and it was democratic, too! Everybody got equal say, and equal voice. There was no DS, no shady backroom deals, no power plays by an elite few.

Grow up and learn something, faggot!

-1
MAGA_Centurion -1 points ago +2 / -3

Yes because everyone born between 1946 and 1964 all had a secret meeting behind locked doors and agreed. On EVERYTHING.

Literal strawman.

Point above you still stands. Boomers sold everything and everyone to global interests for comfy living for themselves.

0
CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +2 / -2

You're doing exactly what my ridiculous statement you pretend is a strawman says.

Yes, you really are doing something THAT ridiculous!

Stop it.

There are still many politicians older than baby boomers right now. How old is Biden? When was Nixon born?

0
MAGA_Centurion 0 points ago +2 / -2

There's no pretending boomer.

You conjured a comically absurd scenario to try to disprove something happened through easy ridicule of how silly it is.

No, there was no meeting of every single boomer in the world where they got together to agree on everything. That's stupid. Which is why you misrepresented it THAT SPECIFI WAY.

Thats called A S T R A W M A N.

Ok, boomer?

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yet your conclusions are based on that exact event happening. Which you know it didn't. So you need to adjust your view. Either that or continue being completely detached from reality on this subject.

Its Boomers and GenXers who voted for Trump - they make up the majority of the US voting base defined by age. We are the ones that KNOW about how bad Commies are - Millenials have lived through NOTHING bad. Millenials were brought up during one of the most peaceful, prosperous times in Western civilisation. They know NOTHING and are making shit up to feel relevant.

4
America1stAndOnly 4 points ago +4 / -0

Millenials have lived through NOTHING bad.

We went through 9/11 while we were still in school. We are the ones that were subjected to leftist indoctrination in school and had to overcome it on our own. We were the ones that had to watch our freedoms be tossed away for "security" as we entered adulthood. We are the ones that had to endure a seemingly never ending 15+ year war on terror in the middle east.

Millenials were brought up during one of the most peaceful, prosperous times in Western civilisation.

We had to live through the worst recession since the great depression... TWICE! We are constantly told now that we need to accept having less and being less than every generation that came before us and then to top it all off, you old fucks that left us out to dry treat us like shit at every turn and try to blame us for everything, but we're used to that.

https://kekpe.pe/i/5ff5389c9a628.jpg

We're the scapegoat generation so you can all tell yourselves that you didn't create this mess, but you know the truth. Millennials have never had power in this country. We didn't make this mess.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +2 / -1

Baby boomers never had power in this Country. We didn't make this mess.

You did have to endure lots of bad shit, and more that you didn't list:

price of cars through the roof because of computerized everything and tons more features, mandated. When you were at the stage of your life that you really needed cheap transportation.

Price of housing through the roof, with houses priced out of reach because a master bedroom suite is as big as we bought as a "starter house"

Realize that the subversion got a foothold in 1913, 33 years before the oldest baby boomer was born

1
America1stAndOnly 1 point ago +1 / -0

I am well aware of Woodrow Wilson and what he did with the FED and taxes, but such conversations will have to wait until another time. I'm off to DC now. Just wanted to check in with this site before I left.

Can you imagine a millennial trying to occupy him or herself (or xir) without the modern amenities? They’d go insane in a day.

2
MAGA_Centurion 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is why boomer hate exists.

Can you imagine a baby boomer trying to occupy him or herself (or xir since it's boomer professors pushing that shit) without modern ammenities?

Because, they sold the ENTIRE country's industry and freedoms to global interests for modern amenities, self indulgance, and convienence.

I remember reloading shotgun shells with my dad when I was a kid and having discussions about politics, including communism. We also had the advantage of being taught actual history instead of the revisionist BS being pushed on kids now.

8
slowmotrin 8 points ago +8 / -0

This is why I don't get why conservatives make fun of boomers, they are literally Trump's base along with seniors.

1
MAGA_Centurion 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bullshit.

Where I live, during all of 2020, boomers called all day on our local talk station and winge, bitch, and moan that young people weren't following DeWines WuFlu edicts and that despite "liking most of Trump's policies" wouldn't vote for him because they were worried about their SS and Medicare being cut. That and they didn't like Trump bypassing the media by tweeting.

Trump train track was built by the X'ers and Millenials on X'er and Millenial web spaces.

1
slowmotrin 1 point ago +1 / -0

Interesting how those demographics went for Trump at all then. Trump's message was always aimed towards the older crowd, make America great again in itself is a nostalgic message that young people can't understand unless they know history, which most of them don't. It's pretty obvious that the majority of older people, who we would call boomers, were for Trump.

8
Zippythekid 8 points ago +8 / -0

Boomers and their children are the last generation that remembers America before the full court press of subversion began,

2
NerBolanski 2 points ago +4 / -2

Why did boomers not stop mass immigration before it went out of hand?

2
MAGA_Centurion 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because they profited from it at the expense of the next generation/s

2
NerBolanski 2 points ago +3 / -1

Republicans or conservatives might never win Presidential elections because of this. some pedes would talk about Based minority voter groups like Cuban-American(whose children are mostly liberals) and Vietnamese. They don't consider that the globalist is using demographics to their advantage.

2
MAGA_Centurion 2 points ago +2 / -0

America will be different going forward. I don't like being Mr. Blackpill. But even in the best scenario going forward, I don't see America being like it was.

Unfortunately, this is the natural progression of the world. As technology increases, civilizations combine and cease being distinct. This is how we went from tribes, to towns, to city states, to nations, to whatever is next.

And I guarantee at every step, people were in the shoes we are in now lamenting their kids losing on what made their heritage and culture so appealing to them.

It's a damn shame that since we are now converging at a global level, the average IQ and culture is not compatable with freedom and personal responsibility, and as such will not be valued or accepted in whatever world power comes next.

Feelsbadman. But humanity will endure the oppression. Eventually in the future, we will colonize planets and the cycle can hopefully continue and a more perfect version of the dream America aimed for can be realized through seccession from Earth, like how America did from GB in 1776.

1

Psychology disowns Freud, but they never left his ideas.

I'm sorry you had shitty parents, lots of us did. From every decade, century, and millennia. It takes a real weakling to try to use that as an excuse to blame everyone born in an 18 year period for being them. Nobody is your parents, except your parents.

Boomers lived under the shadow of The Greatest Generation. Nam was nothing compared to WWII. Suck it up. We’re still young and kickinn

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

You can't say "Nam was nothin'."

Two of my brother's classmates that I knew were both helicopter pilots that did 1 full tour. Every mission they would drop an incendiary bomb to clear out a LZ to drop off their bird full of troops. They would go back at the designated time.

Neither one ever picked up a single person they had dropped off.

Ever. Two years of this and the tactics never changed. That's some fucked up bs.

They were never the same again after they came back. Did shit that never got reported in the papers.

That's not WWII (my Mom's Uncle was the first soldier into battle on D-Day) but it's not "nothing."
