They “believe in science” OK? What could go wrong with replacing god with bureaucrats who just puppet whatever gets them more grants?
Anyone who says they "believe in science" are dumbasses. You don't believe in it. You accept it. Like you accept the axioms of mathematics.
This is how the Climate Change "scientists" work. If you don't investigate the narrative subjects and concur with the pre-conditioned answers you get no funding. And as we know people are greedy and lazy.
