My brother died 1 year ago from pancreatic cancer at 55.
He was an elder in the church, lead worship and Sunday school. Had a loving family. Was honest and decent at work and at home. His church recorded him singing Amazing Grace, his favorite song, and played it at his funeral.
He was a cop in Iowa. He put up with drunks, rapists, murderers, woke idiots, speeders, people stoned to the gills. He retired after 30 years of honorable service, to only find out 2 years later he was done. His last one more year after that, wasted away to nothing and was gone.
If he was alive he would be here with me loading magazines, instead of me here doing it by myself trying to keep it together reading idiotic posts by people saying hate all cops because they were pulled over one night and got a DUI.
Are there bad cops, yes. Thats not what I'm saying. Maybe I'm saying remember this post when you say ALL cops suck, ALL cops are corrupt, ALL cops should be taken out.

I'd rather sue the human rights violator personally, why would I sue the department? I'd only by draining my own tax dollar contributions. No, I want the specific person who's wronged me to pay out of their own children's college education fund. If it's a streetcop, that's fine with me.

Sorry for your loss pede. I have been critical of cops but obviously not all cops are the same. Any cop who follows unconstitutional orders and arrests non-maskers, businesses trying to survive, doesn't arrest Antifa clowns etc doesn't get my respect.

You don’t know what is fake coming from the other side with the intent to demoralize and divide. That’s thier only fucking tactic and it’s fucking old. We are in this together it doesn’t matter what job you have we are a national community and we have the Original Law on our side irrefutably.
DC cops are trash, so I advise police-related people to not take it personally and to provide a suitable model for policing. I've had on-duty police threaten to get rednecks to beat me up so I can't say I'm fond of the average cop, personally.

I'm very sorry to hear about your brother, you have my support and prayers. My wife works at our sheriff's department, I know those officers, they are good guys and have deemed governor Walz's executive orders unconstitutional, and advised our local pd to not enforce mask mandates or punish businesses that open, there are WAY more good cops than bad ones. In fact, one of our deputies is an Alex Jones fan, with a bunker, they call his yard "the compound" and would welcome us if shtf. I stand by my law enforcement.
