If he comes through, he will have proven definitively that he is one of the good guys, should run in 2024 with someone like Don Jr. as VP, someone who is groomable to be president after Pence.

Russia has term limits for "consecutive terms", that being 2 terms, but can sit out the next election and run a 3rd time. Putin thought fuck that, made Dmitri Medvedev president, Putin became "prime minister" for Dmitri's term then afterwards ran for president again lol
He will be ineligible in 2024. In order to be VP you need to be eligible for the presidency in case you someday do become president.
