Our progenitors were warned what would happen if those people were allowed to get the whip hand over us. But they wanted to get stoned and hold hands singing kumbayah and fool themselves that if they were kind and openhearted, all the other, rabidly self-promoting and tribalistic peoples of the world would return the favor - so they threw away our birthright.
