Such a great song.

In my life, there have been only two deaths of famous people that have made me emotional: Ronald Reagan, and Joey Ramone.

God bless the Ramones. Big part of my life.

Did you ever have a chance to see them live. Loudest show I've ever been to. And the most fun and energetic.

Many times. Saw 'em at CBGB when I was 14 in '75. Tagged along with my older brother. When their 1st album came out, spring of '76 I think, I got a frantic phone call from a pal, "The Ramones are playing New Canaan high school tomorrow night. I saw a flyer in town" We road our bicycles over. Auditorium was fairly full. The opening band, a bland cover band went over well with the suburbanites. Ramones came on and cleared the hall by the end of their first song. Me and my friends were in heaven!! One of the most brilliant, meatheaded bands ever.

Damn, that's awesome! I was an 80s kid and I didn't have to chance to see them until the 90s. It was incredible. Glad I managed to catch them on their final tour. I've been to a lot of punk shows, but nothing ever was as glorious as that first Ramones show. The crowd at that show was incredible, too. Just a total, beautiful freak show and what I imagined the early CBGC scene was like.

Yeah, I was lucky to have an older bro who was in to different sounds and encouraged me to tag along to shows. Got see most of the bands you'd associate with CBGB/Max's downtown scene. That I was underage didn't seem to be an issue at that time. Def a golden age. You'd hear something totally new most every week. After hearing the Ramones the first time, everything changed. I don't have much but man, I got my music. Gonna need it more than ever now. Cheers.

I’ve been a punk rocker since I was 12 years old. The Ramones are the greatest rock n roll band ever. I always live by the 3rd rule..

3rd rule isssss.. don’t talk to commies!

Started listening to my brother's Ramones "Rocket to Russia" and "Leave Home" records when I was about that age. Still one of my favorite bands.

3rd rule is a good rule for life. I enjoy following the 4th rule, too.
