It's all a joke at this point. Everything seems predetermined.

Does it even matter who is leading if they get whatever votes they need?

Of course. It will be 50 50 forever. It's one of the many ways to keep the public fighting each other and ignoring the real enemy - those in D.C.

You can see it in historical elections. Used to be you'd mostly get a house with over 250 seats for the majority party, over 55, sometimes 60 senate seats, and presidential elections were divided into 400+ EV landslides and ~300 EV close elections. Now it always seems to be on a razors edge.

Yeah, I feel like this "close election" BS started with Bush VS Gore.

After what we learned last year, I will never trust a close election again.
