Why is he supporting a shovel with a “Nashville Notch”

Also why the hell would anybody in Nashville need a snow shovel? We need a damned clay shovels.

Most if not all of TN is pretty red. Your ideal environment would change the location in the state as we have several different environments (mountains, delta, etc). If you want to be in a conservative area but close to a city then price range would be anther filter to consider. If you want a conservative area and away from urban life then you can probably just put a pin somewhere in the state and be content.

What do you want in an ideal community?

The notch shovel is made to help cut through roots and obstructions while digging. A pointed shovel tends to deflect off to the side of a root instead of staying on target. He’s saying that it may be useful for winter. It’s not a snow shovel by design.

Fair enough. I don’t see that in the posts that I saw but perhaps that is buried in the threads comments which I didn’t read.

Still not the design that I’d use as your gonna give yourself a lot of jarring shocks and that way versus using more appropriate tools but if all you got is a shovel and you don’t have the clearance to swing it or the time to slice then sure.... still think the name is rather absurd and gimmicky.

It’s literally the subject of the tweet you posted about. The tweet is advertising this shovel and links to this website. https://www.hybridshovel.com/

No I get that. He talks about how the shovel is good for snow and ice In one tweet and in the other he just shows it IN snow.

That’s completely irrelevant to roots since they aren’t ice nor snow. And irrelevant to Nashville (the apparent namesake). You are defending his shitty advertising with details that aren’t in the ads.

To make money off of a current political climate and twitter views to something that may or may not ever drop. He's been hyping about dropping something for ~8 hours now, he knows he's getting clicks.

Yeah. I know lol. I was actually scrolling his tweets to see how many times he has dropped hype bombs when I ran into this and had to laugh.

Nashville actually does get cold enough to snow fairly often (this and last winter have been weirdly warm but say 15-45F is a pretty typical winter range I’d guess). Thing is largely that our winters are very dry compared to the other seasons and when we get winter precipitation it’s normally on a warm front from the gulf so the weather tends to warm up and give us sleet. Ignoring the time I was in the military I think 4-5” is probably the most snow that I’ve ever seen accumulate and that’s over several days. I think when I was a kid we had a “blizzard” and got to almost a foot.

Just feels he is using the buzz with the bomb to sell a completely irrelevant item. Kudos to him on making a dime but it seems silly as hell. Might as well be selling a New Mexican(TM) Umbrella.
