Why is he supporting a shovel with a “Nashville Notch”

Also why the hell would anybody in Nashville need a snow shovel? We need a damned clay shovels.

The notch shovel is made to help cut through roots and obstructions while digging. A pointed shovel tends to deflect off to the side of a root instead of staying on target. He’s saying that it may be useful for winter. It’s not a snow shovel by design.

Fair enough. I don’t see that in the posts that I saw but perhaps that is buried in the threads comments which I didn’t read.

Still not the design that I’d use as your gonna give yourself a lot of jarring shocks and that way versus using more appropriate tools but if all you got is a shovel and you don’t have the clearance to swing it or the time to slice then sure.... still think the name is rather absurd and gimmicky.

It’s literally the subject of the tweet you posted about. The tweet is advertising this shovel and links to this website. https://www.hybridshovel.com/

No I get that. He talks about how the shovel is good for snow and ice In one tweet and in the other he just shows it IN snow.

That’s completely irrelevant to roots since they aren’t ice nor snow. And irrelevant to Nashville (the apparent namesake). You are defending his shitty advertising with details that aren’t in the ads.
