..........what?

Once the Federal Reserve comes up with their form of Crypto they will quickly move to Outlaw any other form. Once they major banks take control of it, it’s over. It leads to the end. With cash you can always hide some in a mattress. With crypto, when they shut you off... You’re done.

That's not true at all. They can outlaw it, but BTC will hold value because it has a limited suply, it can be anonymous, i can trannsact with anyone without permission, and i can carry with me where ever i go

MarsellusWallace [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

Stores will not be allow to use it legally. Good luck with that.

scarfacexxx 0 points ago +1 / -1

I will trade them for dollars or what ever when i need

MarsellusWallace [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

You are completely missing the point. Once the federal reserve begins issuing crypto they will eventually phase out cash. Completely. They will have everyone switched to their crypto currency with all others being illegal to possess or use publicly. They will have the politicians make laws and big tech go after the networks and shut Bitcoin and all others down. Then the trap is sprung we are then Completely at the mercy of the banker.

Sure, but what does that have to do with crypto? That's the danger of a cashless society, in such a situation you might (theoretically) use a crypto in an underground economy as long as the black market was large enough to support it, might make it a bit better than a straight barter economy which would be the alternative.

1
scarfacexxx 1 point ago +1 / -0

They can't shut it down. And I can trade my crypto with other people and nobody will know.

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

They 100% can and will shut it down. They will go after the websites, the miners, the servers, the atms for it. No stores will accept it. It will be all to easy to shut it down and guess what. The bankers have way more pull with law makers then you seem to realize.

Crypto is awful for many, many reasons.

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

This one gets it!

It might but I'm supporting things that destroy the bullshit companies like western union and moneygram

Easiest and cheapest way to earn money by day trading. No deposit requirement of 50k, typically just keeping your cash in for a minimum of 7 days, so normal folks can try their hands.

No t -3 or -4 either. I think instead it shows how shit the current trading setup is.

2
Rayder 2 points ago +2 / -0

Right now it is profitable, but it is also super volatile and not at all to be considered a investment or stock, it literally has no value other then its ability to transfer perceived value securely and (potentially) anonymously

shadypollster 1 point ago +1 / -0

Anyone who does basic research will know what they are heading into.

2
navycuda 2 points ago +3 / -1

Don’t be stupid.

Cryptocurrency has a purpose, it is useful, but it will never replace cash unless you let it. It is a very useful tool but yes it does have potential for abuse.

2
hewhoblitzzz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hey guys I hear that the world has a massive energy and carbon crisis? Let's make a new monetary system that collectively requires more power than some small countries just to create a few new coins! Ya its great, it makes people compete to compute these really big numbers that are otherwise completely and utterly useless, that way it uses more and more power and more and more resources to accomplish absolutely nothing new.

To think Christ died for this shit heel logic?

Tbh automation and the increasing advancement of technology is the end of freedoms. Google controlling the map to DC is a #1 indicator for that.

Once AI talke over international trade "to keep things running smooth"forget arbitrage.

1
EUssr 1 point ago +1 / -0

AI isn't some mythical creature that only big tech can tame. It's just applied statistics, which means that it will decentralize proportionally to the number of people that care to learn it.

If even a small portion of the MAGA movement got together they could easily compete, if not dominate that domain globally. One percent of Trump's votes would be enough to become a force that every person alive would know of.

The question is: How many people are willing to study and ensure that the wrong people won't be dominating science and tech?

You keep thinking that. Crypto is fine now right. Wait till the major banker issue their form and quickly move to outlaw Bitcoin and any other form. Once the monopolize it they control every aspect of your life. Don’t be so naive you sound pretty stupid right now yourself.

0
scarfacexxx 0 points ago +1 / -1

That's not true at all. They can outlaw it, but BTC will hold value because it has a limited suply, it can be anonymous, i can transact with anyone without permission, and i can carry with me where ever i go

0
Rayder 0 points ago +2 / -2

What? its the opposite, a cryptocurrency allows for anonymous transfers of value outside the control of centralized governments.

4
scarfacexxx 4 points ago +4 / -0

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes its laws.

Nathan Rothschild

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Boom this one gets it. And once he controls crypto he initiates the next step in human slavery.

1
Rayder 1 point ago +2 / -1

The value of Crypto is in its decentralization, it definitionally cannot be controlled, not by the one who created it and not by a powerful governments. You would literally need about half the computing power of the entire world in order to take over the network of an established cryptocurrency like bitcoin.

-1
scarfacexxx -1 points ago +1 / -2

I love crypto it removes the control over the creation of money from the FED and governments

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

You do understand that once the Federal Reserve banker elites issue their form of crypto the other forms will be outlawed. Then they will control every aspect of your life.

1
scarfacexxx 1 point ago +1 / -0

So what? They can't get my bitcoin, i can transact with anyone without permission and can carry with me where ever i go.

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

LoL you think the crypto network’s protocols will even be running once the banker’s want theirs the only in circulation? That’s hilarious, you carry that worthless Bitcoin wherever you want to stores won’t accept it places to deposit and withdraw will not exist... more importantly big tech will help to end it so fast.

1
scarfacexxx 1 point ago +1 / -0

They can't shut it down that's the beauty of it. I can transact with other people and nobody will know about it. I trade my crypto for the fed coin, dollar what ever and go to the store.

1
Rayder 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean it probably would keep running, there are a lot of countries in the world and its unlikely the government of any country or even a bunch of countries could eliminate it completely.

1
DoubleEagle 1 point ago +2 / -1

You're mistaking third party crypto, for the crypto governments want to roll out.

3
Rayder 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well if its not anonymous or outside the government's ability to create how is it any different from a dollar?

1
DoubleEagle 1 point ago +2 / -1

Government has greater control.

2
Rayder 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not really, the dollar is essentially digital at this point 100% controllable and traceable unlike crypto, what you are really saying is you don't want cash eliminated, which I would agree with, but that is a separate issue.

1
scarfacexxx 1 point ago +1 / -0

they have no control over my holdings or over BTC network and never will

0
MarsellusWallace [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

They will stop it from being able to be used publicly. No stores will be able to transact with it. Good luck buying things from other dudes selling things from their cars in Bitcoin, in secrecy. Because it will be illegal to use.

1
scarfacexxx 1 point ago +1 / -0

I can trade for the currency i want not the product directly.

1
scarfacexxx 1 point ago +1 / -0

and will have no value or less value than one wich governments can't control :)

0
MarsellusWallace [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

Until it’s the federal reserve issuing it after outlawing any other form.

-1
scarfacexxx -1 points ago +1 / -2

It's exactly the opposite, it removes the power to create money out of thin air from the FED and the government. It can be anonymous and you can carry with you where ever you go

2
MarsellusWallace [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Until it’s the Federal Reserve issuing it after outlawing any other form.

0
Rayder 0 points ago +1 / -1

The value of crypto is that it isn't under the fed, if they took control (technically impossible in the case of certain kinds of crypto) the coin would become worthless or just essentially be a normal digital currency like we use right now every time you use a debit card or a money transfer.

2
MarsellusWallace [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Once the stores you shop at aren’t able to accept Bitcoin it will be worthless. Especially when it becomes illegal to even use.

1
Rayder 1 point ago +1 / -0

It would lose value certainly, that's always been the danger of engaging in crypto trading. At any moment the government could make it illegal. It wouldn't be possible to seize it or stop trade completely, but they could make it very difficult to use efficiently.

-2
scarfacexxx -2 points ago +1 / -3

They can try their luck getting my crypto. Fed coin will have no value or less value than one wich governments can't control :)

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Haha don’t be so naive.

0
Rayder 0 points ago +1 / -1

It just sounds like you don't understand how crypto works or currency in general.

1
deleted 1 point ago +2 / -1
2
Rayder 2 points ago +2 / -0

Crypto would lose its value instantly if it was able to be tricked like that. Look at Ethereum classic a hack was used to create duplicate transfers and the value has never recovered.

-1
scarfacexxx -1 points ago +1 / -2

your clearly don't know how BTC works

1
MarsellusWallace [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

Just wait till the federal reserve and the other banker elites move to have politicians outlaw any form other than theirs. That’s when the trap is sprung,

1
Rayder 1 point ago +1 / -0

They could do that today, just make crypto illegal, normal currency operates essentially as a digital token controlled by the government and banking system (with the slight exception of cash which is small compared to the total dollars in circulation).
