Straight white men built the civilization we enjoy today and it was straight white men who gave equality to women, to gays and to POCs/immigrants. I'm just wondering why we did it? The POCs/Women/Gays don't seem to appreciate us and in fact have used their new found power to oppress straight white males, so why did we do it?

Just so you know. I am as straight white male as it gets. I'm actually a member of the proud boys (disclaimer: we're actually a very diverse group and what I say doesn't reflect on the rest of the members at all. As individualists, we respect our differing opinions but respect to disagree. We are no collectivists). Tonight, I just spent the last 4 hours hanging out with my friend of mine who is gay. I don't hate gays. I do think faggots are a problem, as in men/women whose lives revolve around their sexual orientation. You're gay. Great. Move on. Life isn't about sexual orientation and teaching children and young adults to base their identity and purpose around their sexual orientation is doing them a disservice. That is superficial. That is not what life is about. That's a power game and does not lead to happiness.
As a straight white male, I feel the hate. It is there. I'm too young to have been the oppressor yet it is still held against me. Why? Either we stop seeing race, sex and sexual orientation as valid tribal distribution or you're going to get straight white males reevaluating their altruism and I don't want to truly go through that process but it's starting to get out of hand at the workplace and society in general. We need to seriously either stop associating based on these tribal factors or it's going to push men like me in a certain direction and I don't even like the direction I'm being pushed toward but I'll go in that direction because ultimately, I must look out for my own interests.

I do believe homosexuals were overly persecuted. I think homosexuality is natural and we'll always have some homosexuals in our society. I do not agree with the promotion of LGBTQ+ culture.
i only made that connection because the person I was speaking to mentioned he was gay. I just wanted hm to fully understand my position. I really didn't mean to virtue signal. Honestly, I don't care about appeasing anyone but I do care about improving society. I do believe gay people are fine if they just keep their sexual origination to themselves, it's the gays who are overly obsessed with it and promote it among children that are a problem.

I might be part of that start of the white male decline.....I'm in my early 50s I was raised by a single hippy mom with my brother and was mistaken for a girl a lot in the 70s and 80s because of our long hair. I was given a name that can be a boy's name but is most often a girl's name....My mom was a military brat kid that was moved all over the world and was super rebellious of her military father (WW2 POW). My parents split up when I was 2 and my dad was a hippy burn out that killed himself when I was 15. Both of my parents remarried 2 more times. I've had to struggle for everything in my life. I have been self employed and had a girlfriend for 16 years but split up once she found drugs and alcohol. Been raising my two children by myself for 6 years but tragically my beautiful 11 year old daughter just lost her life (Sept 4)in a tragic playing accident at home while we have been so bored with this stupid home quarantine. So yeah this is why I feel like I have been kicked in the stomach my entire life as a white privileged male.

It sounds like you've had a lot of adversity in your life. Way more than my own. I don't think you're a part of any decline. The changed that have occurred to our society over the last century are larger than any one person or even any one generation.
It sounds like you've struggled to make the best out of your life. Honestly, hearing what you've gone through compared to myself, I feel privileged.
I do think single parents have led to a major problem in our society. Without knowing you, I'd say you lack masculinity and the lack of strong masculine father figures who are enact discipline in society is a major problem in society. I don't want to speculate too much though because I don't know you.
I will say that I do believe as a straight white male you have not been given the kind of community and experience you deserve. The last 60 years of our society has been about undoing everything straight white males built. You happened to live through all of it. It isn't fair to you.
I hope though that despite all this you've found some sort of faith to believe in. You have been through far more tragedy than myself so I honestly cannot relate but I wish you the best and I stand with you in body and spirit. You are not alone. You are my neighbor and I wish you the best!

So I felt I needed to reply to your post because me and my 15 year old son are asking ourselves the same question every day as well. Why are white males being treated with such a toxic attitude in society / media. It's mind blowing what we are seeing. Its not defined in any dictionary by it no...but the culture (god, family, values, sovereignty, etc) just so happens go be traditional values of Western (white) culture. You dont have to be white to hold those values...but traditionally these values are alien to southern hemisphere cultures meaning when they come here, they have to assimilate to those values to be a part of American culture since whites are a majority. Which raises the following questions worth thinking about: What makes someone American? Is it physically living here? Or is it certain values/culture? If (when) whites become a minority, will America still be America? Very important questions that are time sensitive.
