The reason they wanted the drive so badly is because Rosenstein would have been exposed. For years he played both sides so he could keep his job. Obama pretty much cleaned house of any GOP working in Justice. So these two gang members end up dead in a parking lot in VA. There are records that show that day Rosenstein did not go into the office. A traffic cam shows him driving his wife's car through the last toll in VA.
All of this was to keep Rosenstein from being discovered. So he took the Russian narrative, pinned it on Trump. Allowed everyone to think it was Russian related. Comey then makes a weird announcement about opening a case into Hillary's emails. Some say that is why she lost, but it isnt. If he has an open case, they cannot release info out to the public or to Congress. Then when things look good for Clinton, meaning the fix was in...he announces the case is closed.
