I've been thinking and saying the same. Although he wasn't the only "republican" to get one, I find it odd that he did get one. Not sure if this is a psyop game or not but we will see what he does today. Makes me wonder though if Trump has known this whole time and is holding Pence "hostage" and forcing him to throw out fraudulent states or he goes to jail for his crimes. It also makes sense given the context that Grassley said he may step in for Pence.

Pence has held the line well over the last four years but his loyalty is about to be tested....soon we will know if we can trust him
