Here is a bit of a clue, its been 4 years of "4D chess" and "they are setting traps" and "trust the plan" and just wait until this or that happens, they we will show them"
Look where we are, on the edge of a cliff about to fall into socialism and then who knows what else.
The biggest take from all this is our rage was being placated while they were out there burning down cities.
My opinion, we should have been yanking these fools out of their dens and giving them reason to pause in 2017, not at the last minute.
But I am guilty of believing the hype, and thinking it was a plan unfolding and would eventually run the communists out, but no matter how much was exposed, it was not enough to get conservative normies off the couch, too much cheerleading and not enough people on the field wrecking them.
Hold onto these truths: the elections are not real, the republican party is not really on your side. My sense about Trump is that he wanted to help but was simply ineffective. Probably not even his fault, there was probably no way he could have followed through on his promises, although TBH I am suspicious of his lack of action when it comes to purging the DOJ, FBI, etc.
In any event, most of the gains we have made with Trump in office are easily reversed with EO's. The one permanent gain was supposed to be the Supreme court but as we see now, that was illusory. Meanwhile Trump has been an incredibly useful tool to make left-leaners completely lose their fucking minds and cry out for tyranny.
But he has accomplished one very important thing: he has revealed to 97% of all conservatives in this country that our government is illegitimate. From now on, in the proper sense of the word, there are no "conservatives," neither side wants to conserve the system that's in place now.
The left was able to convince their side to commit to organized "resistance" because a lack of belief in the existing power structure of society is a fundamental element of the leftist mindset (keep in mind they see the Democrats as essentially liberators of the people, not as corrupt tyrants). Now the right sees things that way too.
Totally. Are we living a larp or are we the sane ones? I really need to figure this out, living in this fractured reality is taking its toll.
I am right there with you.
Same x100

Agree
We are the sane ones, it's that we are battling the strongest forces on the planet
