I agree, it is a PITA, but you must take care of it for your employer. (there are any number of ways to fire an employee so there is that though, and in Oregon it is an "At Will" state.)

How does one note pay taxes with the withholding that comes out out of your paycheck?
I have my allowances maxed out at 8 and I still get a large refund check ($4K) each year.
The only way this works is an extended, massive nationwide strike.
Trouble is, most are not self-sufficient enough to feed their families, pay their rent, etc.
