Last night between 11P - 12A, was intermittently checking out different livestreams from folks around DC.
Ended up watching a bit of Baked Alaska's dlive (an IRL remote-controlled person kind of experience) and, while he was unnecessarily antagonistic with fellow MAGA folk, there were "peacekeepers" who swooped in to ensure some of the inebriated MAGA types didn't upset the applecart.
In particular, there was a Boomer and a few more current/former military-types. BA was giving him a hard time, but the Boomer's method of conflict deescalation was incredible to say the least. He ended up getting BA laughing and joking with him after assessing the situation several times.
He left by essentially saying, "look, we're going to make it through the night, and then we're going to storm the capital."
That's the energy we need. Not a fucking rally to beat our baby war drums.
