Don't listen to anyone who posted here so far. All bad ideas. Here's what you do: as you watch CNN, take meticulous notes. Go home and RESEARCH their claims. Document your sources properly, use the AP style of citing sources. Make sure your sources are tight. The next day, every day, you hand in a one-sheet that documents CNN's errors and your research (sources).
You win THREE ways: (1) you're going to learn a LOT; (2) you'll probably get an A; and (3) you'll embarrass the teacher while proving your point. And who knows? You might even make a convert!
