The elections are run as dictated by the state. That is also stated, plainly, in the constitution. Federal election laws say that states pick the winner on election night, why didnt we know the winner until a week later?
Okay so WHY DID WE NOT KNOW THE PRESIDENT UNTIL A WEEK LATER WHEN FEDERAL LAW DICTATES THE ELECTION ENDS ON ELECTION NIGHT?
Oh, because state judges etc UNILATERALLY CHANGED THE ELECTION LAW IN THE STATE TO EXTEND THEIR ELECTION DAYS.
